We do not have much snow, but enough to have winter activities. At Tunevannet just on the outskirts of town, they have made ski trails. Actually, it was a little too little snow, but enthusiasts from SIL's trail group found that they could shovel the snow towards the center from two sides. Then there was enough snow in the middle for the ski trail, and ice rink for skating on the sides! And people has really appreciated it. It has been a bustling life on weekends, and many people have also found their way there on weekdays. Both school classes, kindergartens, retirees and others who are free during the day. And even I've been skiing! It's been several years since last. I like best when the trail runs on the ice and it is flat, not fond of hills. It is so fun to see how many people have come out to enjoy winter activities, whether they are walking, skiing or skating.
A pair of socks have also been finished. It's actually the fourth time I knit this pattern. This time it was with Fabel in the main color and Delight the pattern. They were relatively large in size with this yarn. They are for the January challenge at Sock Knitters Anonymous, where the theme was Stranded Colorwork.
