Spennende og morsomt!
Time goes fast to Christmas and I have some Christmas gifts on the knitting needles. But in between to knit for others I take part in a fun knitting project. We have started the advent time a bit early. It is Bitta Mikkelborg that on Facebook has invited to "Advent knitting mystery". She has designed a pattern for a fun scarf . It's not just me that has been tempted to join in on this, there are over 8000 participants. We get new parts of the pattern three times a week, a total of 20 parts. There are already so many different varieties to see, some use few colors, others use scrap yarn in many different colors. I have chosen to use a light beige Kauni yarn to main color and multicolor Kauni as the pattern color. Currently it is purple as the pattern color, but it will soon change into green. It is knitted in the round with pattern on each side so it will be nice and warm!
Exciting and fun!
Nå er det blitt november og det er mye gråvær. Det blir et helt annet inntrykk når en går i skogen nå når det ikke er blader på trærne. Men det er noe av det som er spennende med naturen, den forandrer seg stadig i forhold til årstider og værforhold. Now it is November and there is much gray weather. It is a completely different impression when walking in the woods now when there are no leaves on the trees. But that is some of the exciting part of nature, the change in seasons and weather conditions.
Our cat Iris does not like the autumn weather, she is reluctant to go out now when it's getting colder. It is much better to lie beside me on the couch when I knit. But when she is not so much active outdoors, she must find other challenges. And then she was suddenly hunting for my knitting!
