I also baked a "Julekake" = Christmas cake/bread. This one is rich in butter and very good. In Norway Julekake is used all year round, but this one I only bake for Christmas. Here you can find the recipe.
Of course we had to try it yesterday night, the rest of it I cut in suitable pieces and put in the freezer. Then I can take out of the freezer what I need and always have fresh cake.
